CITY NORD

The City North district is one of the largest office locations in Europe. Development started in 1961 with the objective of providing Hamburg’s major corporations with an attractive, centralised and shared headquarters location close to the city. Today, the high-specification buildings across the entire district are home to major companies including Hansenet, Signal Iduna, Deutsche Telekom, Tchibo and Allianz; a total of almost 300 companies with a total staff of over 30,000.

There are many reasons to enjoy working in City North. Few other Hamburg locations offer so many advantages: the proximity to the airport and the city centre ensures optimal connections and short distances. In the meantime, the former office city has grown into a colourful and attractive mixed-use submarket.
